Hardcovers for The Stone Cycle Complete Sets
Hardcover editions are now available for each of the three books in The Stone Cycle Complete Sets series. The full content of The Stone Cycle series is incorporated in these three books.
Each hardcover is described below. Note that all book images on this page are photographs rather than mockups.
The hardcovers are Jacketed Case Laminate Hardbacks, which means they have dust jackets as well as glossy hard cases. Each book features:
- Different cover images for the case and the dust jacket (see below)
- Background graphics (specific to each component book) on inside pages for book, volume, and chapter headers (see below)
- Extended book, series, and author information on the back and inside sleeves of the dust jacket
The three hardcovers share the same retail price. Hardcovers can cost up to double the price of equivalent paperbacks. These hardcovers, however, are not significantly more expensive than buying the paperback editions of each book in the relevant complete set.
The hardcover edition of the first complete set, which includes two full-length novels and a novelette, has a retail price less than 10% more than the combined cost of the paperbacks included in it. The other two complete sets, each of which includes two full-length novels, cost around 30% more than the combined cost of the constituent paperbacks. Yet the hardcovers offer significantly more features as well as sturdier binding and harder wearing covers.
